Announcements!!!
Welcome Back! Please read below!

Welcome Back All! I hope you get off to a great start this school year. Please know that my door is always open and I am ready and willing to listen to any concern you may have and help you plan for your future. You can stop by anytime and see if I am available or you can make an appointment in the appointment book located across from my office on Ms. Loftus's desk. Seniors please pay special attention to the announcement immediately following:

To apply to an instate college/university

1) Application: Go online to:
ASU= http://students.asu.edu/freshman-admission
NAUhttp://home.nau.edu/admissions/undergrad.asp
UofA= http://www.arizona.edu/future/apply.php
From there fill out an application and submit it. Do not forget your application fees.
2) Transcript: Go online to www.docufide.com and order an official transcript to be sent to the school(s) to which you are applying.
3) Test Scores: Go online to www.collegeboard.com (for SAT’s) and/or www.actstudent.org (for ACT”s) to send your official test scores to the school(s) to which you are applying, if you did not do this when you originally registered for the test.

To apply to an out of state college/university
You will follow the same process as for instate but you will most likely want to use the Common Application.  Please ask me about the Common Application if you are applying to a handful of out of state schools. The link is www.commonapp.org This will allow you to send to many schools by filling out just one application and the recommendations can be uploaded electronically. This is the best option for many out of state applicants.

If you need a letter of recommendation:
1)  Please open the Recommendation Materials Link below under Important Documents and fill it out and give it to me. Remember, the more complete your forms, the easier it is for me to write your letter of recommendation!
2) Have a stamped envelope(s), addressed to the college(s) to which you are applying if you are sending it through snail mail. Also, make sure to give me the Secondary School Report (SSR) if it is required by the school you are applying to. This does not apply to those using the Common Application as it will be all done electronically.
3) You must allow atleast 2 WEEKS for the letters to be completed. We do not work over October break or Winter break, so please plan ahead!
4) If your application must be included with the letter of recommendation, it must be completed and given to me with your request for a letter of recommendation.   THANK YOU!!

To apply and register with Scottsdale Community College (below is the link for SCC registration and forms, Fall 2010 registration begins March 29, 2010)
